PlanetSolar: First Around the World with Solar Energy 2010-2012
Philosophy: Much more than a world tour - a decisive step into a new future
The surface of MS TÛRANOR PlanetSolar, currently the largest solar boat and the largest mobile solar platform in the world, is over 530m2. The PlanetSolar project employed leading-edge technology available on the market. The intention was to demonstrate that by innovative use of existing materials and technology, high-performance solar mobility can be realised today.
